Modular Testing System

Modular test bench for wiring harness validation, assembly and quality control

Modular Testing System

End-to-end precision solution for wiring harness validation, assembly and quality control — engineered for high-volume automotive and industrial production. One workstation brings together modular fixtures, guided connection, continuity and TBO testing, and automatic pneumatic release.

The harness is laid out exactly as built, every connector is mated into its own fixture, and the complete harness is tested in one cycle. Because the board is built from standard modular tiles, fixtures can be moved or replaced when a harness changes — without rebuilding the bench.

Features

  • Modular test board — standard tiles on a grid addressed by row and column; fixtures can be moved or replaced for a new harness without rebuilding the board
  • Continuity checking — every circuit is tested for continuity, short and miswire through the connected Futura harness tester
  • TBO detection — Terminal Backout checks catch terminals that are not fully seated in their cavity before the harness can pass
  • Pneumatic auto release — fixtures lock pneumatically during the test and release automatically when the harness passes
  • PC-based error display — each connector is shown graphically with the exact fault location
  • LED guidance & indication — an indicator at every fixture guides the operator, with pass / fail indication and buzzer
  • Mobile, sturdy cabinet — aluminium-profile frame on castors with storage below and an overhead canopy
  • Barcode and label printing support
